All sections have square ends. Every joint opens on an even number. 1 side marked consecutive inches to 16ths. Other side marked into 6 scales for various brick and block on 16" module. The first end section is a short section. Permits butting the rule on the first 16" module. Blade and markings protected by longer wearing epoxy finish. Markings embedded into wood. White finish. Solid brass joints, strike plates, end caps. 6' long.
